first day of lessons wasn't too bad.

we had a game called "listen-to-the-teacher-talk" for pe and went for a warm-up run of 1 and a half rounds. stretches came next. there were some weird stretches like the push-up-position-with-your-butt- in-the-air stretch. the entire pe lesson was spent doing the warm-ups and yeah, we missed out on playing the tan hai nee game, which is a good thing. it must have been dumb to play something else on a BASKETBALL court.

social studies was fun. colman chua is really nice and cute. suvitha thought of colouring his social studies blocks purple. xD his lessons are going to be rather engaging, i predict. since he believes in being jovial in class. homework was to research on some philosophers and political thinkers.

recess came. i went downstairs with suvitha and had pizza with her. =9 and i thought i saw teo walking to the dustbin to throw something away. but when i tried to take a closer look, i saw nobody. sigh. missing my irritating tablemate. ><

geog and hmt were slacker classes. quite stupid in fact. chemistry was rather okay. we had to write down our aspirations and all that for a self-introduction to the class. math was a big fat catastrophe. i failed my diagnostic test and i know it. ARGHHH. what the. my algebra is waaaaaaay too rusty. to think i am in advanced strand math class and i cannot even finish the fricking diagnostic test. never mind. i will work extra ultra hard. YEAH MAN. gotta stay positive. =) HOPE. the word aragon and arwen from lord of the rings had hanging at the corner of their mouths.

robotics after school was a blast. we made a structure out of lego such that it would not shatter into a pieces when dropped from various heights. we were separated into groups anyway. it was great. i was supposed to be group leader in our little group which consists of a newcomer, a senior and the chairwoman. kind of weird to be the group leader because the chair should have been the leader. we completed our little lego structure and tested it. we used rods to secure the structure and not just the lego bricks themselves. so it was rather sturdy.

michelle yeo cheated. fumes. she insisted that she was merely bending the rules. whatever. do you call a stick with some lego bricks in the middle dangling like keys and two wheels at each end a structure? =.-'''

our competition went very well. our team's lego structure was secure and we were one of the two finalists. and no prizes for guessing who the other team was. we took the competition a step further and decided to drop the lego structures off from the second floor onto the first floor. michelle was downstairs to look out for anybody passing by when mrs deborah tan stopped outside the G.O., where michelle was, to talk to some old girls. michelle tried to warn us but we dropped both lego structures and duh they broke. it's like so high up. lol. but we got away with it. xD HAHA.

the catapult competition was even more interesting. we had two pairs of wooden chopsticks, a piece of rafia string, a plastic cup, straws and some cardboard. i thought it was rather easy. just get a rubber band and slot it onto the chopsticks and tadahhh, a makeshift catapult. =) and we won.

yay! robotics was a blast and haha, so was the first day of lessons. =) cya people, gotta do some work.
