first week of school's officially done and over! =) and yeah, it's been great fun knowing new people and stuff, having lessons together in class. and i've been blur enough to walk into the wrong class after going to the toilet. ooo. x__X
i guess every friday's going to be a slacker day. geog was spent surfing the net looking at pretty pictures of nature and the earth, taken by this really cool photographer from france. he took pictures from helicopters and from different angles, which is totally awesome. i have already chosen five pictures that i like. =) chinese was rather confusing and i was trying really hard to speak in mandarin throughout the one hour block. >.< thankfully, the timely arrival of the recess bell saved me from further embarrassment of speaking mandarin in stutters and pauses.
upper sec assembly was a powerpoint on a journey of courage and what's-it. mrs michelle ng gave this talk in the ks chee. the analogy of the king kong movie as a parallel of our rgs life is kind of funny. she got most of it right but the i totally disagree with the part where she hinted we might just fall in love with our performance tasks and tests just like ann darrell fell in love with the huge hairy primate. what an inconceivable thought.
her talk knocked some sense into my head that i should work hard. haha. fwahaha. whatever. i shall just do my best in everything i do, and not give up when i still got something to give. =) yeah man. nothing is impossible to he who tries, so says alexander the great. hmm. maybe in this case it is she. nothing is impossible to SHE who tries. sorry alex, it ain't your say anymore in this modern world where girls have just about as much say as you guys.
the talk ended like 15 minutes ahead of schedule and we sec 3s crowded outside the hall, waiting for rs block to arrive. i caught up with lijie, sijia, ling and jessie at the stairwell. i think i really miss secondary 2 life. i love secondary 2. it's like i am not too old and i am not too young. somewhere in the middle. secondary 2 rocks because those people in your class are from the previous year and you have just started to learn more about them and understand them better. that makes the 2nd year more meaningful than the first. i really miss 205'05. and 205'05 rocks my socks forever.
rs was so dry that i was bored to pieces. ms tan put us through the 45 minutes of pure excruciating torture of a lecture on rs before letting us go and do our rs stuff. i was like, come on man. 15 minutes. what can we do? anyway, the streetlights thingy we are going to do is really weird. lol. xD
math class came after rs and we got to watch a VIDEO! =) this charles guy solved the crime using probability, plotting on a map and also logic deductions. that's way cooler that i thought it would be. xD heh.
that's about it for today.
haha. i am typing a whole load of mundane everyday-life kind of stuff. xD lol. okay cyaa.
