seriously, bosses are essentially people who delegate stuff to other people to do.
they don't really know the details because they pass it on to someone else to do it.
in the modern day company, people with the capabilities to do the work are hired.
so naturally the experts in that area are fielded to do that certain task.
but the boss does not necessarily know what's going on in the lower rungs of office organisation.
because the salespeople sales supervisor etc. etc. have first hand experience with the customers, so they prolly have more information on customer feedback = "more depth and breadth of information".
